1958.9   Founded as Yamagata Factory of Nakagawa Seizo Co., Ltd.
1961.4   Awarded by The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency for the development of the NC-12D.
1961.10   Nakagawa Seiki Seizo Co., Ltd. (predecessor of Micron Machinery Co., Ltd.) was established in down town Yamagata.
1962.9   Exhibited at the 1st Japan International Machine Tool Fair, Osaka. Awarded by The Ministry of International Trade and Industry
1964.8   Tokyo branch office was completed at Meguro-ku Tokyo. Opened Tokyo sales office in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
1968.3    Nagoya branch office was completed at Naka-ku Nagoya. Opened Nagoya sales office in Naka-ku, Nagoya.
1968.5   Changed the company name to Micron Machinery Co., Ltd.
1968.9   Relocated to Zao, Yamagata.
1979.12   Our new headquarters and main plant were completed.
1986.9   First exhibited at the International Manufacturing Technology Show, Chicago.
1990.6   Plant #1 was completed.
1995.3   Awarded by The NK Industrial Research Institute for development of the MPG-500CC (Eccentric Shaft Grinder).
1996.4   Awarded by The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency for the development of the MQS-450
1998.1   Awarded by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun for the development of Dry Grinding.
1998.4   Advanced Technology Center was completed.
1998.9   Awarded by Japan Society of Abrasive Technology for development of the MCG-500SIO (Centerless ID/OD Grinder).
2000.3   Developed the first Internal grinder MIG-101.
2000.12   ISO 9001 Quality Systems certified and registered.
2001.3   Micron-U.S.A., Inc. became a wholly owned subsidiary of Micron Machinery Co., Ltd.
2001.10   Micron-U.S.A., Inc. moved into its new headquarters.
2003.4   Awarded by JSAT 2003 for monograph (Developed the method of Centerless Grinding with no Regulating wheel)
2003.5   Award by DENSO for Technological Development as excellent supplier.
2005.6   Company stock listed on the JASDAQ Securities Exchange.
2005.9   First exhibited at the EMO-Hannover.
2006.12   Chubu Satellite was completed in Nagakute, Aichi.
2007.9   A new assembly plant (South Plant), specializing in small sized machines was completed.
2010.4   Company stock listed on the Osaka Securities Exchange JASDAQ market.
2011.3   Micron Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
2012.4   Award by JSME for the Excellent Product of the MSL-600 and MFC-600 (Automatic Changeover Thrufeed Centerless Grinder)
2013.1   Micron Technical Service was established in Head Office as subsidiary.
2013.7   Company stock listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ market by integration of the Osaka Securities Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2013.8   The market integration of the Osaka Securities Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange , listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ market
2013.9   Research & Development Center was completed in Kaminoyama, Yamagata.
