Grinding Machine

In 1959, two centerless grinding machines were manufactured in a small factory in Yamagata City, Japan. Since then, our centerless grinders, which have continued to evolve and are equipped with unprecedented and revolutionary grinding technology, have contributed greatly to the advanced development of today's industry and society by providing parts processing systems for key products in various industries, including automobiles, electronic information equipment, home appliances, construction machinery, bearings, and medical tools. Since 2000, we have also added internal grinding machines to our product lineup, providing ultra-precision hole drilling systems to the automotive industry. We have delivered more than 7,500 of these grinding machines to more than 30 countries and regions around the world, and our customers are highly satisfied with our products and services. The company is the top manufacturer of centerless grinding machines with a 40% share of the Japanese domestic market and over 10% of the global market, and was also awarded the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's 2020 list of 100 top global niche companies. As a manufacturer of grinding machines that supports the world's manufacturing industry, we are committed to developing more innovative grinding technologies so that our grinding machines can contribute to our customers' profits. We also aim to master the world's highest level of grinding skills and technologies.

Factory Automation (FA)

Our grinders are widely used as equipment in production lines, and we propose not only the design and manufacture of loading and unloading equipment before and after the grinders, but also the machining process. We provide FA systems that meet the needs of our customers by taking advantage of the know-how and technology we have cultivated through these achievements. We respond to issues such as the efficiency required for production lines, downsizing, energy saving, environmental friendliness, and high-mix low-volume production from the "customer's point of view."

Retrofit

Our centerless grinders can continue to be used in better condition for many years through periodic maintenance and overhauling, such as bearing replacement and scraping correction. However, there are currently only a few cases where centerless grinders are "idle machines," or "used machines on the market that are being used satisfactorily while demonstrating their capabilities. This is very unfortunate news for us. Therefore, we have decided to engage in "machine refurbishment and sales" as a retrofit business, believing that "it is an important responsibility of manufacturers to make effective use of limited resources and to thoroughly overhaul used machines so that they can once again work at the forefront of their customers' operations. The centerless grinding machines sold in this business are called retrofit machines. The newly reborn machines have almost the same performance and accuracy as new ones, and can be introduced at a lower price. If you are interested in our retrofit machines or have any questions, please contact us using the form.

Medical

In 2013, we began developing, designing, and manufacturing medical devices based on our core technology cultivated in machine tool manufacturing. Collaborating with the Yamagata University School of Medicine in 2020, we saw the development and commercialization of a motorized bone surgery instrument using ultrasonic vibration. Since then, we have been listening to the needs of the medical field and developing medical devices that help advance medical technology and minimally invasive medical devices that are patient-friendly.
