Message from the President

"Quest of ultimate roundness." On October 6, 2021, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of our company's founding by continuing to master the art of grinding round objects into round shapes. Based on the management philosophy of "Technology with Personality," "Innovation in Grinding," and "From ZAO to the World," and the management vision of contributing to customer profits and the global environment by mastering the world's most advanced grinding technology, we have pursued grinding technology and developed grinding machines, and have also taken on the challenge of developing medical equipment and other new fields. Today, the company has grown to be recognized worldwide, including being named a top global niche company.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our stakeholders for their support, including our customers, who have provided us with opportunities to solve problems; our cooperative associations and other business partners, with whom we grow together despite difficult times; our employees, who relentlessly take on challenges at all times, and their families, who support them; our shareholders, who are warm and strict in their views; and our local community members, who accept us as members of their communities.

In the midst of a decarbonized society as a countermeasure against global warming and the "new normal" of an uncertain future, we will continue to develop technologies that are indispensable to the Japanese and global industry, as our predecessors aimed for, while further utilizing the spirituality and integrity of the people of Yamagata, which is our strength, to meet the ever-changing market and make great strides toward the next 10 years and even beyond. We look forward to your continued guidance and encouragement.
